Can anyone recommend a general dentist. I feel like the dentist that I go to now is more concerned with revenue. Poking around my mouth looking for "money". Oh, you need this, and you need that.

It's at the point where I don't trust them so much. I used to go to Herbert Underhill growing up, but he retired. He was awesome, and it's been hard finding some else like him.

Anywhere from Cranston south to the South County area. Thanks for any suggestions.

I miss my dentist in RI - Mark Small, DMD. His office is on New London Ave in Cranston, right near the intersection with Oaklawn Ave. He is incredibly gentle, talented and never ever recommended any unnecessary work. I highly recommend him.

I know a great one I used to use in North Dartmouth. He is worth the drive. It was a 40 or so minute drive for me from Newport to his office but well worth it. He is wholistic; very conservative when it comes to all the invasive expensive dental work and diagnostics AND he went to Tufts Dental School. His name is Dr Mark Grenier. I always got a discount for paying cash and his rates were reasonable.

Along the same lines, can anyone recommend a dentist in the Providence/North Providence area?
