Who told politicians that robocalls every 15 minutes were a good way to get votes?

The money parade really has to stop.

At this point I will vote for anyone who promises never to call me! Bob Healey, I'm looking at you!

It's a pity when members of a democracy question its credibility and viability based on the occasional robocall. Or other minor inconveniences. Men and women have given their lives since (and indeed before) 1776 for our freedoms. Two World Wars were fought so that we could enjoy the fruits of elected government.

That some people wear it as a cheap paste jewel -- to be discarded on a whim -- is rather sad, and fully pathetic.

Alfie, I hardly said I was willing to discard democracy.

I do think that "do not call" should mean "do not call" though, and in any case, it should mean "do not call every freaking 15 minutes of the day"!

I tried calling the 'Cianci for Mayor' number back. What do you know, they don't like receiving phone calls either!

^ Perhaps you'd be happier in Iran, or North Korea, where there ARE no phones, nor opposing candidates? I don't use my landline and I have never owned a television. Funny, you don't see me whining on a public forum about commercials and robocalls. Perhaps some introspection and lifestyle changes are in order on your part. I'm all about being happy, so I just don't let minor irritants rile me up, especially concerning our hard-fought right to NOT pick up the phone and NOT watch television. Get a hobby!

^Well, okay then. I'm glad you're so happy. You sound it.

I'm going off to be introspective now.
