The Providence Police released the following about the Admiral Street murder:
"On 5/19/24 at approximately 0515 hours, Providence Police responded to 190 Admiral St for a for a report of a gunshot victim.
The male subject was later identified as Julio Ariza, age 28 of Providence, who suffered a gunshot wound to his back and was transported to Rhode Island Hospital where he was pronounced deceased.
No arrests have been made and no further information is available at this time.
Police also observed an apparent “sip joint” being operated at this location which is under investigation."
You've explained your history, but it doesn't add up.
Re: Elmwood
It seemed clear to me that you were considering Elmwood.
Re: Restaurant reviews
I'm sorry but I have my doubts about some of them.
Re: Neighborhood choice
I don't think my guess was wrong. Was it wrong?
Now this is a change of tune. In the past, you have stated each of these points as if they were 100% concrete facts. What you’ve done here is express them as opinions. Granted, you’re wrong about every single one of them; but you’re entitled to your opinion and you’re at least expressing them as such. No complaints from me!
I'll say it again. All of this just seems to be a way to draw attention away from the recent crimes in Providence.
Ironically, you and MassNative are the ones who draw attention away from your own topics, because you stoop to cast aspersions on other posters.
Which they feel entitled to respond to, and who can blame them. Maybe leave the baiting and insults out of it and topics wouldn't drift.
But it's also fair to say that most of the board isn't interested in discussing crime to the same extent you are. Not everyone is going to share your hobbies.

The “Stars and Bars“ is a reference to a Confederate flag. It is unlikely to find a Confederate flag flying anywhere in Providence. I bet you did not mean that flag.
""An officer was patrolling Broad Street, when he saw slingshots driving recklessly in the bike lane," said Perez. "The officer stopped to investigate and got out of his vehicle.""
"The driver of the slingshot then took off on foot.
"The officer chased him — and they got into a struggle and the suspect broke loose and a satchel [containing a gun] dropped to the ground," said Perez. "The officer seized the firearm at which time the suspect got into the cruiser and drove for about four or five blocks and before jumping out.""
Here's the guy that stole the police car on Broad Street.
