As long as you meet the criteria there aren't any time limits for subsidized housing. I know some places in Rhode Island have long wait lists to get into subsidized housing.
sandsonik, do you believe that that poster is posting here in good faith?
You know I can’t help the fact that Rhode Island is so small and I have that many friends and family living there.
Now getting back to West Warwick, why don’t you just take a ride this week and check out the neighborhoods on either side of Cowesett Ave around the Station Memorial and the Cowesett Inn. These are very nice neighborhoods and I have friends living in both areas.
I will continue to post accurate information in this forum to help others and in good faith.
No, those are hyperbolic opinions. Mostly coming from people who only know Arctic, West Warwick's struggling downtown former shopping district - like most Main Streets in most New England towns, really.
There are plenty of nice neighborhoods in West Warwick and it's simply not the broad "white trash" phrase you so charmingly use. West Warwick is mostly middle class. If you were to explore, you'd find a lot to like. It's really not very different than any other RI town.

I include this one because my grandfather almost bought this house, but decided to build his own instead. So had things turned out differently, this is where I would have been for every holiday!
