Hi,

We're considering relocating to New Kent County from the suburban Philadelphia area later this year. We've been told that New Kent County is a friendly, quiet, essentially rural area which is what we're looking for after living in a region filled with aggessive, curt people who drive like speed demons.

Could anyone tell us if we're on the right track? What are the property values like? What about good medical care?

Anything helpful would be appreciated.

Cordially,

Clark and family.

My primary impression of the place is that it's red-necky. But it's definitely affordable and bound to be more friendly than what you're used to.

I'll second this, but if your looking for rural it should work.

Have you looked into Henrico County at all? It's nice here in the burbs! Everything you would ever want in a few minutes drive, everything to do and nice schools, aside from all the housing stuff going on, property values are very good an always rising. Even in the couple years I've been hear property values have gone up, If you do look into it, It's West Henrico you want to look into.

Rural to redneck. Cheap by Philly standards. Medical care is Richmond, but it's an easy drive.
