Yeah, maybe its because I haven't seen a good snow in 3-4 years but it seems like the snow melted really fast this year. As a child in SW VA (Roanoke), it seemed like when it snowed, the ground would stay covered for 3-4 days..maybe a week.

This is the first 'real' snow I've witnessed since moving to the Richmond. Is this normal for Richmond? (Granted, I've only been on campus since its snowed so the heavier traffic [both auto and pedestrian] may be why the snow seems to be gone so fast.)
