Hi Richmonders

Ok..so I have a business formal to attend and I need to go pick up some new duds for the event.

So..i have come to you guys for your expert suggestions on any places that sell affordable menswear. Nothing too expensive, but nothing to shoddy either. Just a nice, conservative (but slightly fashionable...im only 20 ) business formal suit.

I would rather not just go to Macy's or some big department store (though I haven't ruled that out). I would much rather go to a nice little independent menswear seller. Preferably with in-house alterations available. Something close to downtown would be ideal.

Please list any suggestions that you have. Any that particularly stood out to you guys (or gals) for whatever reason (great price, exceptional service, etc).

Thanks in advance.

I recommend that place next to Jared's near the Chesterfield Mall, I think it's a Men's Wearhouse.
Macy's isn't too bad. The sales associates are either old and stale or young and pushy, MW is more laid back.

If you go to that Men's Warehouse, ask for Michael to help you out.

There's probably more than one "black guy" but he would happen to be one of them.
