I was wondering if i will be able to find armed security work in Rochester. i am retired NYPD.What is the going salary usually?

I assume you mean a security guard? Most companies nowadays go through agencies for their security guards, I would also try looking on company websites. Most decent sized companies have security at least at night.

As a Retired Policeman myself, please be careful, I have too many friends who got to retirement only to be killed by a shoplifter while working for minimum wage.

Maybe the college campuses have jobs with their publuic safety departments. Try U of R, RIT, Brockport, Roberts Wesleyan, St. John Fisher, Nazareth or even Geneseo or Hobart.
