I may be moving back to the Sac area but one huge consideration is my Golden Retiever. I need to find a good pet friendly apartment or small house.

It's a nice newer apartment complex next to the Whitney Ranch area which is a nice neighborhood.

Retrievers don't belong in an apartment. Do yourself and the dog a favor and find a house share through the News and Review. Worked out great for me!.

A large dog can live in an apt as long as the dog is given adequate daily exercise outside.

I know this thread is old, but it was one of many I read it when I was looking, and thought I would update with the apartments that I found! I moved with my german shepherd and pomeranian into the Rose Crest apartments in Sacramento, near Carmichael. It is right by ARC. They are gorgeous apartments with a "tuscan" theme. I love it here! I could not find a place that would let me have my big dog, and was going crazy, getting rid of my dogs was not an option. I am a real tenant and just wanted to share with you how this place saved the day for me. Im posting this everywhere, so if you see my posts Im not spamming, just trying to pay it forward, I know how frustrating this search can be, MOD CUT Good Luck!
