Default morning traffic

i am still waiting on the economy to get better so i can move there. but i plan on living in midtown area and probably traveling to maybe 30min outside the city. i was wondering what the traffic is like going out of the city in the morning. usually there is alot of traffic coming into the city but curious about the opposite. kind of vague but i just want an idea...... thx

You make hit an occasional slow-down or traffic snag with the counter-commute but it generally keeps moving pretty well, at least within the radius you described.
