My husband & I are considering moving our family to SLC or one of the near by communities. We plan on visiting a few more times before we get the moving process starting just to make sure we making the right decision. But we pretty much fell in love with the area.
I would be seeking transfer from the Veteran's Administration business office here in Fayetteville, AR to another federal job in Utah. Any Federal employees out there? What is the SLC VA (or other community based VA)clinics like to work for? Some VAs are great to work for & others not so much at all.......
Husband is an optomertrist & will also be seekng to get on at a clinic. Civilain or VA. He prefers civilian

The VA Hospital is adjacent to the University of Utah campus - and the U of Utah Medical Center Complex - there are many overlaps in clinical staff and training programs.... I have not worked at the VA - but worked at the U of Utah College of Nursing - and many faculty and students had positions there.
