I live in that area and Havent seen a single thing happen to the building except for a banner go up... i could be wrong though..

On the good news side though the new public library at Roosevelt is opening tomorrow.

I'm past the building multiple times daily and there is nothing going on inside. I've seen workmen there maybe a handful of times over the entire summer.

finally got an email back from the YMCA officeThank you for your interest in the Walzem Family YMCA. We are continuing to work on the construction plans and finalizing some odds and ends within that process. We anticipate opening early next year, we have just run into a few things that have caused a delay. We hope that you continue your interest and that you visit us when we open our doors."

Thanks so much for the update! I live in the same general area and was looking forward to having a "Y" nearby. The lack of apparent progress was dismaying, but I was devastated when I noticed the "YMCA" banner had disappeared. Glad to hear it's still on the slate...albeit a bit off schedule.
