What??? Seriously??

My Weather Watcher (computer program) says it's 104 degrees right now and the icon (on my taskbar) is bright sunny sunshine.

*goes to check weather radar*

...

*comes back*

Ahh so yes there are some "popcorn" showers in the area...too bad they are small and scattered!

Doppler Radar

I just sent a text message to my sister and brother about 10 minutes ago letting them know it's 104 degrees right now and to be careful (my sister has a 1 1/2 year old baby).

I hope that upperlevel low comes to South Texas on Sunday and gives us rain! Steve Browne says it's too early too to tell though.

Nice and it looks like a small cell might sweep across most of the city but won't that just make things even hotter once it is all said and done?

Wohoo just got some rain. It was in and out of here fast but at least it'll help. My temp on my computer still reads 103 degrees.

Yeah, we got about 5-10 minutes over here at Braun/1604 before it moved south. It made a mess of everything, as it was a pretty hard rain for such a short duration. Hopefully we'll get more and with less intensity, my grass (or what's left of it) could sure use it!

And it was quite the sauna out there afterward!

Cheers! M2
