Hey everybody,

I'd like to get my girlfriend a gift certificate to get her hair cut, styled, and dyed. Problem is, she doesn't have a preferred salon that I know of and I'm new to the area also.

Obviously, I don't want to drop that much money without knowing the quality of the place. Any help the women and metrosexual men on the forum could offer would be truly appreciated.

Thanks in advance!!!!

Do you have a preference on neighborhood?

I happily and heartily recommend Diamond Kut (pardon the horrid way they spell it) on Hillcrest just inside the loop. I've been seeing the owner for 13 years for cut and color. It's a fun and funky little house converted into a salon. Clark, the owner, is great, and so are the rest of his staff, particularly Sergio and Kit.
