Hello!
I have been searching for a "homeschooling school" in SA on the internet and found Austin's ecoschool ( among other's in Austin, sigh), which is exactly what I'm looking for...but I need it in SA! I searched the forums and found the summit Christian academy but I couldnt find out how it works from their homepage so maybe it's not what I'm looking for...
What I want is a 2 or 3 day a week "school" where they encourage the appreciation of learning, and self growth ( I have a long list of what I would like but those are the most important) and homeschool the rest of the week so they sort of learn from different perspectives to better define themselves.
I have heard of coops but they are only once a week? Am I right? (and I have been having trouble finding one, I know of the groups like feast and such but I really can't find information on them or how their coops work??
My daughters are 3 and 1 y/o, so I've never really homeschooled, but I know that this eclectic way of homeschooling is what best goes with both my kid's and my aspirations.
I'm catholic, but I appreciate all beliefs so I'm open to either other religions or agnostic (complimented with my catholic teachings and perhaps a catholic HS group)
