Could you recommend some charity groups that our family could help out for Christmas. I would like for my kids to help those in need. Maybe a soup kitchen or something like that? Any recommendations are much appreciated. Thank you.

Try the Ronald McDonald house. My wife and I donated our handmade Christmas displays to them and set them up in front yesterday. The location on Sid Katz in the Med Center. They always need volunteers for all kinds of things. No better feeling than doing something for families who have child sick in the hospital around the holidays.

Thank you. I would like to do something hands on you know? We have been given so much and I want to give back. Not in just gifts or money, but I want to serve.

Haven for Hope looks for volunteers. There is always the United Way to get a hold of and see what they have available.
