I am moving to San Antonio in the next few months, I am looking to locate near south san antonio as my husbands work will be in Pleasanton. We are looking to stay near downtown, but south so the commute will not be too bad to Pleasanton.
Any recommendations of nice apartments in this area?!

Unless the OP would specifically really like an apartment locator, I would avoid them like the PLAGUE. It's not to say that they don't know what they are doing or that they won't be helpful, but the truth is their goal is to make money off of that person. Everytime I look on Craigslist, I see many apartment locators around the city with the same sales pitch in every listing.

If I were in the OP's shoes, I'd rather ask for recommendations from people locally who are familiar with good places in that area rather than just going off of someone who doesn't "live in the area." That's why we have this message board to give our feedback and suggestions.

I am not very familiar with the Southside, King William and Southtown areas so I can't make any recommendations. Hopefully some board members who live in that area or those who are familiar with it might be able to help the OP.
