Budget is $70 including tax and tip.
2 adults, 1 toddler.
We live at 281/1604- would like to stay within 10 miles.

I don't care what kind of food, I just want to go some place- whether the place is separate or not, for a really cool dessert- something chocolate.

Thank you!

Not too familiar with many restaurants in that area, save for one...Auden's Kitchen which has been consistently good. They are comfort foods done up a little snazzy with decent prices. Can't say I've seen many toddlers there except during brunch hours.

If you want something fancy you may find your budget a little limiting. But if "moderate" places with good food are OK with you, then I can recommend:
- Mirasol (Mexican, on Blanco between Wursbach and Bitters)
- Mela (Indian, on 410 close to Babcock)
- Willies (American, on 1604 and NW Military)
- Stonewerks (American, on Blanco and 1604)
- Two Brothers (BBQ, has great playground for kids, on West near Blanco)

Have you tried Cielito Lindo? It's not fancy, but Mexican food is good. It's on Stoneoak and Huebner. Also in the same place there is a Spanish Tapas Bar names Copas. Very good food, althogh not really a family restaurant (nothing wrong with it, just nothing to do for the kids)
If you are willing to drive Downtown, there are very good options: Azuca (Latin American/Caribbean), Carmens de la Calle (Spanish/Tapas, with live flamenco dance on weekend nights), The Cove (definitely not fancy, but has a playground and amazing fish tacos)

Copa is actually a wine bar. They do offer some tapas but it really is first and foremost a wine bar. Not super rowdy, I just don't know if it's a place to bring a toddler. I highly recommend it for adults though and the owners are a gem of a couple.

Does the $70 include alcohol? If not, Roaring Fork during their happy hour, which I *think* ends at 7:00- sit on the patio. Not a "kid place" but the patio is certainly toddler friendly. Also, Paesano's might fit? Aldino's? (all the places I listed have nice patios.)
