I feel you gtrplayer, I was at Urban Outfitters with a friend last weekend when my purse (Which has a mind of its own) beeped on our way out. I explained to the girl that came up to me that I beep at a lot of stores and that she saw me come in and glance at a few things and walk out. She gave me the stink eye and rummaged threw my purse (gave her permission). She didn't see anything, so she waved it through the sensor and saw it beeped. Her manager, then came up and gave me the same look. I was like "look, it does it at Barnes and Noble, Ulta, Target, Old Navy and a bunch of other stores. The girls at Ulta even know who I am now...they just let me go. So either satisfy your curiosity and figure it out or let me go...other wise you can go stop those 15 year old girls from taking your bracelets instead of harassing a 26 year old professional woman who clearly is not your demographic."

Priorities.
Hahahaha! That's a funny story Ashbeeigh !!
I like your purse!

So I took it to a store that sells the manufacturer and it didn't beep! They were like "Umm..yeah. I don't know." Dumb.

It was a $200 purse. I've never had the trouble with a cheap one!

What gets me is there is no look of guilt, remorse or even embarrassment on her face. She looks happy. I just don't get how a person gets that way.
When we lived in Memphis years ago there was a story that has stuck with me......a women was eating in her car at sonic. young teen thugs carjack her in broad daylight, drag her out of the car, shoot her AND RUN HER OVER. Obviously she was killed. But when the media asked friends and family members of the suspects their response was so callous..it was "he didn't have a car, and he just needed a ride ya know"
....as if their needs justify their actions.

Really, they riffle through your stuff? I hand them the receipt, they very lazily eye by cart, mark the receipt, and then let me go. Maybe I just look more innocent than you.

Seems to me like the DA's office should be catching some flak for this one. Maybe they're still hung over from Fiesta?

oh I hate that too! Not because of the whole private property issue, but because Walmart is basically accusing me of being a thief before I've even done anything.
