Robbing someone at gunpoint is a serious crime. It's more serious than theft, drug dealing, and burglary without a weapon in my opinion. The serious felons (murderers, child molesters) are transferred to state prisons anyway. I say if the castle doctrine applies, then it's a serious crime.

Of course I do. I didn't say I didn't think she shouldn't be in jail right now. She was let out on bond for another offense, not this one. My point was, which i made earlier, is that it was mostly probably a slow news day and they could make a big deal out of it..looks like they did.

She was released on bond for the carjacking . She was already arrested and released earlier in the month for the August robbery.

This stupid chick went to a friends car lot, bought a car on buy here pay here, a jeep grand Cherokee, drove it for a month, totaled it without insurance, and my friend is out over 10k on the vehicle. Her brother and her father, sells cars at a high line import store in Boerne. Not model citizens....

San Antonio needs bigger jails if carjacking with a weapon is not seen as a violent crime. And the little cutie
