Saw that the barricades were down yesterday. It certainly is helpful to have an alternative with the Broadway construction at Hildebrand.

I noticed it on Sunday. I came home through Mulberry. It looks nice. Walkways on both sides of the road and good looking lights on the new bridge. The best part is I can stop dealing with Broadway and Hildebrand to get across to the other side of the park. And I'm sure lots of other people will be thinking the same thing.

Thank you both for the information. I'm at Mulberry /St. Mary's /281 M-F and this is the first I've heard about the reopening.

Finally!

I read that the Broadway construction is on hold indefinitely until a lawsuit is worked out. Can't they just put it back the way it was while they are deciding?

They are still going on with putting the utilities underground. The lawsuit, as I understand it, has to do with routing the flood contril through the park and into the river at Hildebrand. This could go on for a long time.

The River Road area residents are afraid the flood control added to the river upstream will make thier flood prone homes more flood prone. I think they are also worried about the Lily pads in the pool at the headwaters.
