have a friend whose daughter and husband and two small children are moving to SA area--they have only lived in DFW--very loyal Catholics--they are considering putting oldest one in Catholic school == girl 8 and boy 3 She is on the gifted track at local school--it is rated exemplary by TAKS--but they are concerned about where to live--they think they may rent to see if they like his new job/town and just try catholic school for first year...

any suggestions for Catholic schools in SA area-- he is working in downtown area so he could take her to school...they don't know where they might wind up living right now..just started looking--but more worried about school since it is getting close to start date...

If they end up in the NE area, St. Monica's in Converse (my home parish) and Our Lady of Perpetual Help in Selma are both good schools. The NW side has St. Matthew's, and Atonement Academy is on the far NW side near La Cantera. Holy Spirit is in the north central part of town. These are just a few choices....SA has many more Catholic schools than the DFW area.
