Howdy,

I'm moving from San Antonio to a house about seven miles west of Floresville. It's a rural location. I need to get internet service at the house and need suggestions. I have already checked with Stelera and they can't provide service to my location. Any other ideas? I'm thinking satellite might be my only option.

Thanks.

Chris

It's possible you might be able to get DSL, even in a rural location, but if not, maybe something like Internet America?

My friend who lives in Floresville said that they use a service called Stelera (similar to Clear) and that they have been very happy with it.

Thanks, all, for the suggestions. I ended up going with a DirecTV / WildBlue satellite TV/Internet package. My address qualified me for a reduced monthly rate of $39.95 for the Wildblue internet portion through theU.S. Recovery Act stimulus funding program. Connection speed isn't very fast but it's about all I could get at my house. Sorry for taking so long to reply.
