So as a teacher my mind directly went to budget cuts and the mass influx of children that will pour into schools with the projected boom. Who plans on teaching them and with what resources? Will my class have 45 kids in upcoming years???

I hope those in management of the infrastructure are capable of keeping

I wonder if this has anything to do with the Eagle Ford Sahle boom. S.A. is the closest, largest metropolitan city to the boom area and 60 minutes had a short blurb this weekend about fracking; what I found interesting is the CEO of Chesapeake energy mentioned that the U.S. has two, not one, but two areas of natural resources untapped larger than Saudi Arabia.
I know this thread is about economic boom, and I didn't write what I did to talk about the enviromental issues of fracking...
I simply found the 60 minutes story interesting of the economic developments that play ahead.
Possible more tax dollars to help out our school teachers out so Black Irish will have the resources to teach his students..

Theoretically, that's what should happen.

This COULD be a good thing - better if people stop telling everyone to live in Stone Oak. I don't live there but I hate even gong to doctors appointments there due to the massive congestion. I guess those that come from Ca. feel right at home there
