I dont tip trades men, but I do offer a bottle water or anything else to drink. When my house was bing built, I went by there one Friday evening and brought them some beer. They loved that! I usually tip 15-20% for service people, unless the service is horrible then I leave a dollor. I dont leave tips in tip jars at places like Murphy's deli, unless they really WOW me.
