Does anyone know if there is a group of Astros fans that watches games at any of the local sports bars in San Antonio? Thanks.

Yup, I just watch them at home. Right now the band wagon has rangers written all over it. Judging by their farm system it's got a good ways to go.

Sadly, the majority of people here root for Dallas-oriented teams.

However, I am a big disAstros fan. You may remember me from the Houston city-data forum.

Might end up being a Cardinals fan because of Berkman.

I don't know of a group where they meet. But most of my family including myself are fans. Now if I could only find a Texans jersey in this city.

Cubs fan here. It's good to see some baseball fans on this site. It looks like it's going to be a LOOOOOOOONG season for both the Cubs and Astros.

I was glad to at least pick up the Astros - Brewers game two nights ago on Fox Sports Plus, which takes over "Stuff TV" on Time Warner. I'll be switching to AT&T soon, and won't have to deal with that, thankfully. I miss watching the Astros on most evenings in HD. Screw the Rangers/Cowboys/Mavericks... I'd say the same for the Stars, but they're the only NHL team in Texas, so they're cool.

I'm a diehard, lifelong Cards fan. One of our favorite pastimes is to go to the ballpark when the Cards are in town playing the Missions.

Missions games are really fun. If you get a chance, go check out the Round Rock Express games. They're in the same league as the Iowa Cubs and have a great park, so we usually go a couple times a year.
