Is SA in the same boat as CA when it comes to gas prices? In the L.A. area we pay $3.40 a gallon for regular and $3.60 for premium. Is it cheaper in SA?

I paid $3.13 for premium today. The highest premium I've seen around is $3.20. Regular is still dancing just under $3.00 a gallon.

The gas prices in California are higher than all other states practically, but you also need to remember their cost of living is greater therefore the money they make is greater than the rest of the country. A $500.00 apartment in San Antonio is $2500.00 in NYC or $1500.00 or so in L.A.; those prices are if you're lucky and the living space is slightly bigger than a rathole.

I'm glad i'm in Texas with 2 vehicles that hold 20 gallons of gas. One uses super unleaded only which is always fun to fill-up.

Try having 5 cars with 3 that take super only. 2 of those 3 get no more than 10mpg (depending on how heavy my right foot is feeling )

Unfortunately, a large SUV is one of my other 2 cars that takes the cheap gas.

While I am not happy about rising gas prices, we are still getting it a lot cheaper than 90% of the world.
