I brought my car in for service and decided to walk to Ray's Pizzaria & noticed that they were totally wrecking the old Toys 'r' Us! What?! I didn't even know they had closed it down! What are they going to do with it, does anyone know?

I'm going to miss that Toys 'r' Us. Wasn't it open just this past year for Black Thursday? Or was that the previous year? Man, memories......the inexorable march of progress and time....one-way. Always a one-way street.

That Toys R Us being torn down moved over to the shopping center behind it at 410/San Pedro (across 410 from North Star). The new store combined with a Babies R Us to make one superstore.

There are offices behind it, so I hope it's not more retail. That parking lot was always a tough one to get in and out of.

The dealerships areound there seem to gobble up space with car inventory. Wouldn't doubt that nothing will go and that it would be used for more inventory.

The shell of the building is starting to be put up, but still no sign or word what it may be.
