Anyone have time Warner cable with digital phone AND a fax machine hookup? How did you do it? Does it work? I need to send a fax and wanted to hook up my fax machine, but not sure if it's worth it.

Thanks.

We do - your fax connects just like it would any regular phone line. We don't have any problems with it...

just plug it in the phone jack and fax away. I've sent and received plenty of them with digital phone service and never had an issue. the fax signal is just an analog signal sent over a VOIP line, they have nothing to do with eachother

Thats good to know about TW. I've used other voip services in the past and have had bad experiences with faxing.

Talking Trouble with Digital Phone Faxing

If you have problems faxing, check with your Fax machine or Multi-function manufacturer. I have Time Warner Digital Phone service in Cincinnati, OH and have a Brother MFC-5440CN and needed to switch to a compatability mode which dropped the baud rate to 9600 and disabled ECM. Works fine now thanks to Brother's FAQs off their web site.

What can I do?: Canada[/url]

bought an all in one HP printer and it faxes from time to time. the old one worked fine, but the newer model is crap. Contacted TW and HP and both think it is the others fault. we have a dsl filter, different wires youname it. system check keeps saying that the fax is not connected to an active phone line. Anyone got any ideas ???? we are at our wits end!!!!!

Does your fax have an "Auto Answer" button? If so, the fax should pickup before the call goes to voice mail.
