I'd also visit Boerne and check out the shops and restaurants along Main Street or maby even visit Fredericksburg though Boerne is closer to SA if you want to stay in the San Antonio area.

Visit Boerne, Texas

I have been reading about the water taxi. Is there a stop close to the Soflo area. I read there might be one by mission reach. Is that near there and can I walk to it? I wont have a car while my son works, so I am trying to figure out public transportation to the Alamo. I read that I can get on a trolly by the Alamo. Then I can take the trolly and get on and off when I want to. I was also thinking of trying the water taxi one day. The website is down for the water taxi so I cant see where it stops. I will be staying at 1010 S Flores. I am trying to figure out if the water taxi goes near that area or if I am better off taking it from the Riverwalk. Thanks for your help!
