Are you looking for a builder for yourself or to work for one?

It all depends on what side of town you want to be on, what you're looking for in a home, budget ($150-$400K is really too broad), etc.

Just a friendly reminder that while other builders have become more KB-ish - KB has at the same time really improved the quality of their product. The trails at Herff Ranch in Boerne, Saddle Mountain and The Quarry at Iron Mountain along with the soon to be opened Woods of Alon in Castle Hills are all premium standard four sides brick communities with lots of trees. Basically any KB neighborhood above the Hallmark line is worth a look.

The Quarry at Iron Mountain is simply stunning. Most people would never know it is a KB neighborhood if not for the signs at the entrance.
