Really, just an NBA team in a city of San Antonio's size is pretty silly.

I'm just curious, you seem pretty wrapped up in the whole why isn't there a certain kind of sports team in large Texas cities. Why is that?

First Baseball in Dallas now this.

For the last time, SA is not the the 7th largest city in the US, it is the 29th largest (and it's TV market is 37th). That - and a lot of other reasons - are why SA has only an NBA team.

Seriously, are even SAians already so bored with the Spurs that they're demanding to have something else??

Umm yes San Antonio is the 7th largest city in the country. I don't know where are you getting your info but this is the real deal:

Well, SA is the 7th largest city in the US, but 27th largest metro. Whether you agree with the methodology of why SA, Dallas and Houston are in the top ten, they are.

Man, I hope and pray they merge this thread! The other one turned into a total back and forth argument about this same type of stuff. It's hard to have a productive conversation with all the bickering.
