Looks like Nelson Wolfe is wanting to paint himself as a fiscal conservative.

Check my math here, but if the decrease is 1.2 cents/$100, that makes a whopping $12.00 (1200 cent) reduction on a $100,000 house. I understand it's a decrease, but $12/$100,000 is very little, not enough to make a difference. Am I missing something?

This is an election year for him, so I'm sure it's no coincidence that he chose this year to take a popular stand.

Bexar County taxes are a fairly small percentage of the property tax bill. School district taxes are by far the largest percentage.
