I'm sure The Admiral will get in first vote. He sure deserves it. The great 50. An incredible basketball player, an incredible man. Does everyone agree?

He better get in on the first try. He's the ideal role model and just a very good person. Even Crack Fu said something nice about him yesterday.

You wouldn't happen to be a David Robinson fan, now would you?

I would like to know who is NOT a Robinson fan--he is the type of player that could have made the Mavericks true contenders...
he should go into politics because from what I have read he is a rational person with wonderful charisma and the intelligence and guts to do the right thing for the right reason even when it might be an unpopular choice

Growing up in SA as a kid, DRob was and still is my favorite NBA player of all time. He was awesome on the court and even better off. I can still remember going to games and watching him stand at attention during the National Anthem while other players swayed, looked around, etc. He had such a respect for the game and for his country, that couldn't be paralleled. Being in the military now, I have even more respect for him knowing that he served in the Navy two years after being drafted to fulfill his Naval Academy commitment. He's a no doubt, first ballot HOFer and I'll admittedly probably shed a tear when I see him get inducted.
