I wouldn't just give up my DL info like that so I was pretty surprised how many people agreed to do so. Point is, some people will jump and dance for free things.

Believe it or not that person is actually doing those smoking customers a favor. That person is employed by one of the tobacco companies and is attempting to get some of their smokes at a reduced cost. By law before they can give the reduced price out they have to scan the customers ID so that they can determine they are of legal age even the ones that look of age. They have to have a scanned id for each person given a discount.


I guess the idea behind this post is.. not all people in this world are works of art. There are some people out there trying to help others out.

Makes sense. It had seemed like some kind of ploy to gather customer data.
