Finkel's. They were the former Sizzler franchises in San Antonio. They converted to Finkel's in the early 90s, I believe, and were gone by the mid 90s.

After Sizzler left Finkel's took over and they did not do very well.

I worked at the Gallaghers on I-45 in Webster,Tx. That had to be the best and most fun place to work. The entire staff got along.

I used to eat there when at Trinity in the mid-70's....not very expensive. It was on McCullough and Hildebrand.

Also, when I lived in Falls Church outside DC, we used to go to the Steak and Egg -- especially for breakfast after 2 AM.

The IH10/Wurzbach location caught fire at some time in the 90's. It was salvaged and reopened as a Tony Roma's which didn't last long. It's been TacoTote for the last 10 years or so

The one I remember that was affordable was Bonanza on Broadway,...I liked it, but there was something about their salad bar I couldn't eat much of,...made my head spin.
