Well lets enjoy this Easter in March cause we will not see Easter in March agine for the rest of ore lives,,

Here's the facts :

1) The next time Easter will be this early ( March 23 ) will be the year 2228 ( 220 years from now ).

The last time it was this early was 1913 ( so if you're 95 or older, you are the only ones that were around for that ! ).

2) The next time it will be a day earlier, March 22, will be in the year 2285 ( 277 years from now ).

The last time it was on March 22 was 1818.

So, no one alive today has or will ever see it any earlier than this year !

Ya know hubby and I were talking about this a few minutes ago. I always thought that the date of Easter was something determined with oh gee, Religion.........ok, so maybe I've been under a rock. I learned it is determined by the first Sunday following the first full moon after the first day of Spring.
Have I been the only clueless adult who wasn't paying attention somewhere along the way growing up?

Don't feel bad, mama. I thought Hallmark dictated it.

I guess I never thought about it much growing up--I always knew the chocolate eggs and the ham dinner were coming eventually. I was Catholic, so Lent always made time crawl anyway.

I'm Catholic as well and just "assumed" religion played a part in the date. My bad.
Ok, I should say I'm a bad Catholic as I did nada for Lent this year. Don't suppose I could confess online?
