Toyota recalls 100,000 Tundra trucks - Nov. 24, 2009

It doesn't appear the recall of more than 100,000 trucks will affect local operations.

dayuum!!! 100,000 trucks? I never did like Tundras they are over rated, bulky, and in efficient.

It looks like this recall involves previous-generation Tundras that were produced before the San Antonio plant was built.

It does. They were built in 2000-03 so I don't think it is likely to have any local affect. In a separate matter Toyota will be replacing gas pedals on ~4 million vehicles.

yeah, the Drive by wire issue killed a 5 person family, and injured quite alot, Why would any one look for paradise(Imported trucks) when Eden is oh so near?(US Trucks)

Can you link to the article that says it is a drive by wire issue, I have not been able to find that.
