A friend of mine will be sending his kids to public school for the first time this year. Does anyone know about these two middle schools? His kid would go to Jackson, but he is thinking about sigining up for school choice for next year because Eisehower is actually closer to his house.

well, it's been about over 15 years since i've been in middle school...lol..but i did go to Eisenhower and still live in the area. the school has undergone quite a bit of additions aesthetically, but i can't speak of the academics since i've been there. it was a National Exemplary School in the late 80's, i think from 88-89. it feeds into Winston Churchill High School (Go Chargers!) and for the most part is a good school. best bet is to check out
North East Independent School District, San Antonio, Texas USA for any questions on either school, as they are both neisd schools.

A friend of mine will be sending his kids to public school for the first time this year. Does anyone know about these two middle schools? His kid would go to Jackson, but he is thinking about sigining up for school choice for next year because Eisehower is actually closer to his house.
