If it was a coyote... explain the pigs nose. It also started to bounce up and down just like a deer when it hit the talll brush. So this is not a coyote. I mean look at the body. The back legs are taller then the front ones, It has a pigs nose, Warts on Face, Hairless, except on the spine of the animal.... and the hair is like that of a Havalina. Very easy to write off as a Coyote... But when you stand 10 ft. from this animal your whole point of view would change, and quickly.

Yep. First reported in Puerto Rico, then in the mainland of the Yucatan in Mexico. This critter has been mis-labeled. Now we are going to have to start calling the real chupacabra "Chupacabra Non-Caninus". Or just "Chuppy" for short.

well....not that anyone is following them around, but have there been any instances of Havalina/coyote crossbreeding? It seems that if they caught this animal, DNA studies might indicate what it is. Has no one caught one or been able to hunt one?
