I was on a Southwest flight yesterday with a superintendent with Pulte Homes. He said he has gone from 15 closings a month to only 3!!! Is it really that bad right now in San Antonio for new home sales? What about for existing home sales?

It's the off season, sales re much slower. Still, in my neighborhood the houses, right now, are on the market for 60 days max. The last one sold in less than 30 days. But Sonoma Ranch was ranked the 3rd most popular place to buy in San Antonio (it was in the newspaper a few months ago) so this does not surprise me. BTW the Pulte homes in Sonoma Ranch are overpriced, that may be why they aren't moving as quickly.
