Funny! I just bought one on Amazon for my son. It was around $50 - and free shipping because I had other things shipped, too.

I can't wait to see my son on it!! Downside is I still need to put it together. I haven't opened the box yet, but I'm hoping it's a simple seat/wheel assembly with everything else already in place!

I found one on the internet too the only one I could find here was the one Saphire mentioned at bikeworld. It ended up being to big for my son. How old is your son djw? Just curious. I thought it was a peculiar thing to ask for but then again I have a peculiar son!! I can't wait to see my boy either, it should be good for some giggles!

He's 14 and stands about 5'2". The options were 16" 20" and 24", so I went middle of the road. At the rate he's growing, he should be fine even if it's an inch or two too tall right now.
Oh, and to keep it even more interesting, I've wrapped the whole box so he can put it together himself! He'll get a wrench in his stocking! And a book called "Crash course in unicycle riding" or something like that!

yes, we have health insurance!
