I had made a post about mechanics on or nearby culebra and 1604, but am wanting to know if there are any that come out to your residence? My fiances car gave out last night
, and we had to get it towed to our apt
. However with it not starting, it leaves us in a real bind. Any suggestions or recommendation?

Sorry to hear about your car troubles.
Not sure about a mechanic in the area, but if you need to have the car towed again I highly recommend Wayne of A&W Towing.
Years ago we had some work done on one of our cars at Johnny's Automotive on Grissom & we were very happy with the service & price.

Mander Automotive in Helotes off of Hwy. 16/Old Bandera Rd., is great! Honest, Experienced/Certified Mechanics and Reliable. (About 5-6 estimated miles from Hwy. 471/Culebra Rd. and 1604 - Taft High School area). Taking F.M. 1560 to Hwy. 16, is the best route. Mander Automotive will even arrange towing for you, if requested. As a repeat customer, I have never been disappointed. However, I doubt they make house calls.

My boyfriend goes to peoples places to fix their cars. It depends on what needs to be done. He can at least tell you what needs to be done, maybe.
