Whatever happened to the Maui Wowie that was supposed to go up at Potranco/1604......? There was a sign saying it was coming soon and then.....nothing..... Is someone else in that space now? Did they pull out?

Zoom to 200%, then look at the strip behind Chick-Fil-A and to the left of the starbucks/t-mobile.

I've never had it, but thought the saturday night live skit was pretty funny: Natalie Portman on SNL - Putfile.com

thanks nrlatsha, that Native New Yorker looks pretty tasty and has anyone heard of Maurice's Sandwich Shops? They don't have a web site and most of them seem to be in New York. New stuff is good though. I'm tired of the same old same old

Hello, a little late to this thread, but polar juice in stone oak is under new ownership. They now serve some pretty healthy frozen yogurt and make their smoothies with all fresh fruit

I saw 2 Jamba Juice shops being built, one at Alamo Ranch and one at those shops off 151 and...? near Potranco. I am not great at street names yet.

Also, the Spoonz cafe at the HEB Plus makes fruit smoothies.

I like the smoothies at HEB Plus, they aren't bad. I tried the smoothies at Jack in the Box yesterday and it was pretty tasty! Also, Sonic makes them. You're right michelle, there's a Jamba Juice going in at Alamo Ranch, and 151. There is also one in Alamo Heights I believe, if you are really looking for one now! Hope that helps!

Most smoothie places don't last very long in this city, but that might be changing. If they were smart, they would make a been and cheese smoothie and clean up in this city.

OH! I also forgot Smoothie King, it's up at Bandera, near the Chipotle and Target. We like that one too. Sometimes we'll go there for breakfast after our workout.

I don't know why smoothie places wouldn't last. I love them for breakfast sometimes.
