I'm an Indiana girl looking to move west. I'll be flying into San Antonio on the 4th of Feb and looking around the hill country until the 7th. Other than looking at a business opportunity north of San Antonio, and then out by Garner SP my schedule is wide open. Any suggestions?

Oh, and FWIW, I use Verizon and would like to stay at least 1/2 of a day's drive from a Verizon signal (I already know that the Verizon service out by Garner is nonexistant).

Thanks all...enjoying reading about Texas on here, and hope to be a transplanted Texan in the next year or so!

If there's no specific questions...can y'all tell me anything about the Guadalupe river just north of Canyon Lake? Has it dried up completely, or is there still some water in it?

Thanks!!!!
CJ

oh wow.....that's beautiful!!!! I can't wait....I'll be north of the lake, but will probably check out the whole area while I'm in town on the 4th. Then, I'm planning to drive to Bandera...then over to Leakey/Uvalde/Utopia...maybe out as far as Del Rio just to see Mexico :-)

Take a look at this CD thread for some nice drives around San Antonio and the Texas Hill Country:
