You should clarify your comment. Many people may not know you're speaking from a anti-suburb/sprawl prospective.

Safe and unsafe parts of San Antonio ?
Ahh, better choice of words.

Wow, that's a long drive. Not so long for me since I live inside loop 1604 but inside the wedge with I-10 and 281. I'm amazed there aren't any suitable dentists available closer to your home since I thought they were located all over the place.

About the area I mentioned - after thinking about it for a minute I remembered I have a couple of other coworkers that had problems there recently too. One heard some noise at night and came out to find a younger guy stealing his car. He came out with his .45 and held the guy until police came (score: 1 for the good guys anyway). A second was at a bar he really shouldn't have been hanging out at and he got jumped when he was heading out. Don't remember the name of the place, only that it was near Hwy 90 and north of Kelly USA.

Uh, it was a joke (the difference between "bad" and "safe" ought to be appearant to most people).

And unless we're talking about "safe", Stone Oak is "bad".

I would agree, no side if town is immune as with any large city.

I concurr with Saph here, I agree with Lemon's map, those are the highly concentrated roachy areas. Of course some times you'll get your little incident here and there, but it isnt enough to make it into a bad area.
