Hi to all,

I searched threads first but didn't find anything to answer my question.

I haven't seen any in my search so far but I was wondering if there are any pet-free apartment complexes? Our dog may not be be able to make the trip there due to his condition.

Any useful info would be appreciated. Thanks.

I'm not understanding why you need a pet-free complex. Why does it matter if other residents have pets?

Look online for an apartment locator--they will know which places are pet-free, or really anything you would ever need to know about a particular complex. Their services are free. Just google "apartment locator san antonio".

Linda, I believe they want a complex that doesn't charge for pets, no deposit type. not a Pet free, ie without pets. The pet deposit at some complexes isn't that expensive.

If that's the case, and they were required to pay a deposit (presumably refundable) then if their dog couldn't make the trip, wouldn't they get the deposit refunded and not be required to pay any extra pet fees?

Still not understanding OP's intent...

sorry to hear your dog is not in traveling condition, most places like rent.com have search options that will allow you to search for pet free units

hugs to you, and empathy with your situation

As someone who has relatives with pets who once rented in San Antonio, I can tell you that rentals with a no-pets-allowed policy are plentiful.

If you are asking whether there are any rentals that do not charge a deposit or additional fees for pets, there probably are some, but I would say most of those will be smaller complexes owned/managed by individuals, or some single-family homes with yards. In many cases, the places that do allow pets will charge extra fees, and may also restrict the number and size of the pets they will allow.

First of all, let me clarify....

No, it doesn't matter if other residents have pets in their apartments.
What I meant is that I am looking for an apartment complex that has a no-pets allowed policy. I am looking for that because that is what I want.

If I could bring my dog with me, believe me, I most certainly would

Thanks for all responses.

Annken....yes there are some that do not allow pets. I remember one specifically in Alamo Heights on North New Braunfels. I'm sorry but I don't remember the name. We found them through a locator service. That's probably your best bet to save you a lot of time.
