Can anyone confirm if the Club at Sonterra will be hosting a fireworks show this year? If so, where is the best place to watch? Can they be seen from Hardy Oak & Stone Oak?

Thanks!

I live close to that intersection, but am not sure if you can see them well since its about a mile away. Last year I went to seem them at the Luby's parking lot at the corner of Blanco & 1604. The lot was not full and you get to see them up close. Cornerstone Church also put on a display after the Sonterra fireworks and this is also clearly visible from Luby's.

What time will Sonterra put their show on? Last year we drove over to The Shops at La Canter to watch the Fiesta Texas show and then saw the much better show at Sonterra on our way back. I suspect they (Sonterra) don't advertise theirs since it is paid for by the country club members.

I just called their office and they said it starts whenever its reasonably dark, but they are usually between 9-9:30pm.

We can see them from my in-laws neighborhood (Highlands), but have also been able to see them from anywhere on Huebner/Stone Oak area.

Does anyone else have a good viewing spot for the Sonterra fireworks that isn't crowded?

The parking lots of businesses along the eastbound access road of 1604 are less crowded than the Luby's lot. But every year, parking in these areas gets more crowded as more people find out about these fireworks. Discussing it here doesn't help.

just wanted to thank you for the tip...brought my two young kids over to Luby's tonight and it was the perfect spot to watch the fireworks!! Far enough away that they weren't too scared, but close enough that they could actually see the fireworks.

I've avoided the 4th of July up until now because I knew the crowds and noise at some place like Woodlawn Park would have been too much for the kids at this age. This was a perfect alternative and a nice treat for the entire family. Thank you! Thank you!

The Sonterra fire works were great...lasted 30 minutes. Some of the best in town.
