No really, go see the missions other than the Alamo. Great fun.

In no order (because I'm incapable of that at this point in time):

Liberty Bar before it moves
SAMA
Barge tour on the river and a trip to the new museum reach
Museo Alameda (inside and out, including outside at night)
Institute of Texan Cultures
The Alamo
La Villita
The Battle of Flowers parade
Fiesta Flambeau
Beethoven Maennerchor Oktoberfest
Christmas parade and lighting of the lights on the Riverwalk
Eat at Mi Tierra
Any art fair (I'm partial to the Fiesta Arts Fair, but any of them are cool)

Is that 10? I could go on.

ETA: Yes, the other missions besides the Alamo. And the baseball Missions!

Oh yeah! Good one, hoddys2!

Brackenridge Park, too, and both museums over there.

10. SeaWorld
9. Six Flags Fiesta Texas
8. Eat at Alamo Cafe
7. Visit the Alamo
6. Enchanted Rock (I know its outside of S.A. but it is still amazing!)
5. Schlitterbahn
4. San Antonio Zoo
3. Witte Museum
2. Riverwalk at Christmas (or honestly just anytime of the year)
1. Dinner at Chart House Restaurant at Tower of the Americas...yeah, some may say the food is not great, but I thought the food was outstanding, not too pricey, and the view was GREAT right at sunset!

TRUST ME! I could go on for days...I may even get bored one day and post a top 100 list of things to do in San Antonio.

*Bike ride the mission trail, visiting each mission, ending at Espada then have a picnic at Espada Park
*Explore the Riverwalk through King William and now the northern reach
*See the Riverwalk at Christmas at night
*Alamo - inside during the day, also visit at night when it's quiet and all lit up. You can't go in, but there's an amazing sense of solemnity then that you don't get in the day
*Do an historic tour of downtown to include The Menger (look for Teddy Roosevelt's X on the bar), St Joseph's, Spanish Governor's Palace, Casa Navarro, San Fernando to name a few
*Shop in La Villita, attend a fair there
*see a show at the Majestic
*visit San Antonio Museum of Art, Witte Museum, ArtPace, Galleries on S. Alamo and Blue Star for local artists
*go to the top of the Tower of the Americas on a clear day (have a drink - I can't do dinner, can't handle the spinning)
*Eat dinner at La Frite

There's more, but as a local, these are the things I love to do, and most are within walking or cycling distance of home.

I'll add the McNay Museum and the Menger Hotel which is almost like visiting a museum as well.

Did anyone mention SeaWorld?

Yes, SeaWorld was mentioned.

This thread will be interesting to watch. I for one didn't even think about the amusement parks - they just are not my thing. I also didn't think of biking or hiking anything because ew. That makes one sweat.

I look forward to finding new activities to put on my own list of things to do in San Antonio!
