it pretty much is. i called this last year due to my sources. googles been waiting for the city to clear up the legal work. now that its pretty much done, they will start laying in line.

Ditto. I will believe it when I see Google themselves making the official announcement.

What tells me they are coming is that Google is currently seeking an Outside Plant Engineering Manager and a Fiber City Manager for San Antonio. They have to positions posted on LinkedIn and the Google site.

Some of us remember how long it took to roll out cable TV in the 70s. any customers. It could be as many as 10 years or more to make it available citywide... if they ever do that.
